Ambuja Realty Group has entered into a strategic tie-up with Elbit Medical Imaging Ltd (EMI) of Israel to develop a Rs 10 billion (US$223.6 million) 1000-bed multi-specialty hospital in Kolkata. The hospital, to be set up on over 30 acres at Chakberia near the E M Bye-Pass in South 24-Parganas district, is part of the Neotia Elbit Healthciti, which will offer world-class healthcare services with a focus on cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology, and other specializations.
