Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy Reduces Mortality Risk in BRCA Carriers

Women carrying pathogenic variants in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes with a personal history of breast cancer who underwent bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) significantly reduced their risk of all-cause mortality and breast cancer-specific mortality.
