Breakthrough in Brain Metastasis Treatment: Cycloastragenol Shows Promise
Researchers from the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical in Anhui, People's Republic of China, have made a significant discovery in the treatment of brain metastasis from lung cancer. Their study, recently published in Frontiers in Medicine, investigates the radiosensitizing and toxicity-reducing effects of Cycloastragenol (CAG) in radiotherapy for lung cancer brain metastases.
The study aimed to explore the antitumor efficacy and radiosensitizing effects of CAG when combined with radiotherapy.
