Genetically Modified Corn Cultivation Technology Observed and Trained in Beijing's Huairou District

Nearly 150 people, including district leaders and experts, agricultural enterprises, and large-scale growers, participated in an on-site observation meeting on genetically modified corn cultivation technology in Changshaoying Village, Changshaoying Township, Huairou District, Beijing Municipality. The meeting was organized by the District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau on July 17. Experts from Da Bei Nong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and senior agronomists from the Municipal Agricultural Technology Extension Station and Municipal Plant Protection Station explained various aspects of genetically modified corn cultivation, including selection of varieties and integrated prevention and control of pests and diseases.
