High Proportion of Blue Light Enhances Tomato Product Quality and Resistance to Phytophthora

Research from Sichuan Agricultural University has shed light on the effects of various LED lighting sources on tomato seedlings' growth and resistance to Phytophthora infestans. The study, supported by the National Science Foundation of China and the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, found that high-proportion blue light significantly improves photosynthesis, the AsA-GSH cycle, and resistance to disease in tomatoes.
