Nationwide Enlightenment Campaign Launched to Promote National Identity and Safety

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has kicked off a two-week nationwide enlightenment campaign to educate Nigerians on government policies, national values, security awareness, disaster preparedness, and national identity. The campaign, which will run across the 36 states and 774 local government areas of Nigeria, aims to close awareness gaps, address harmful practices, and counter misinformation that undermines unity, safety, and development. NOA's Director-General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, announced the campaign, which will focus on five thematic areas: government policies awareness, flood mitigation and disaster preparedness, national security awareness, values reorientation for students, and national identity and symbols.
