Police in Nigeria Parade Suspects in Killing of Two Policemen and Abduction of Contractor's Son-in-Law
The police in Jigawa State, Nigeria, have paraded suspects in connection with the killing of two police officers in Taura Local Government Area of the state. According to reports, suspected bandits invaded Kwalam in Taura LGA, killing two officers and abducting the son-in-law of a government contractor, Haruna Maifata. The police commissioner, Aliyu Tafida, said the raid followed intelligence reports and involved a combined operation by the police, the Criminal Investigation Department, State Intelligence Bureau, Medical Department, and three Area Commands.
