Structural and Optical Properties of Cadmium Thiogallate Nanostructure Films
Researchers at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, have prepared and investigated the structural and optical properties of cadmium thiogallate (CdGa2S4) nanostructure films. Using a conventional thermal evaporation technique, the team deposited thin films on glass and quartz substrates and subjected them to heat and gamma radiation treatments. The resulting films were analyzed using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and spectrophotometric measurements.
