P21(WAF1) Promotes Angiogenesis and Tumor Growth in Cancer Cells
A study from Sydney, Australia, reveals that p21(WAF1) can induce cell-cycle arrest but also promote tumor growth by repressing gene transcription of thioredoxin-binding protein 2 (TBP2) in cancer cells. This paradox has been attributed to the complex role of p21(WAF1) in cancer therapy, where it can act as
