Defective Engraftment of C3aR-/- Hematopoietic Stem Progenitor Cells Reveals Novel Role of C3a-C3aR Axis in Bone Marrow Homing

Hematopoietic stem progenitor cells (HSPCs) undergo a complex process of engraftment and homing in bone marrow during hematopoietic transplantation. Recent research has shed light on the role of the complement system in modulating HSPCs' responsiveness to stromal-derived factor-1 (SDF-1). However, the involvement of the C3a-C3aR axis in this process
