Study Finds Feeding Prior to Infection Exacerbates Aeromonas hydrophila Disease in Channel Catfish
Researchers at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have discovered that feeding channel catfish before exposure to the virulent Aeromonas hydrophila (vAh) pathogen can worsen the disease's severity. The study found that feeding prior to infection may create a physiological state conducive to pathogen proliferation and dampened
