Novel Disulfidptosis-Related Gene Found to Regulate Tumor Immunity and Progression in Colorectal Cancer

Research from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has identified a novel type of regulated cell death in colorectal cancer (CRC) called disulfidptosis. Scientists discovered that disulfide imbalance, which is caused by excessively high intracellular levels of cystine, can induce disulfidptosis. This study suggests that targeting disulfide imbalance could be
