Substrate Effects on Phase Formation and Interfacial Stability in Superconducting Vanadium Silicide Thin Films

Superconducting quantum devices are on the cusp of breakthroughs, thanks to recent advancements in thin film vanadium silicide (V-silicide) materials. A team of researchers from New York University (NYU) has made significant progress in understanding the influence of substrate properties on phase formation and interfacial stability in these superconducting silicides.
