Transformation and Strategic Role of Salaf Al-Manar Islamic Boarding School in Globalization Era
A study conducted at the Universitas Islam Negeri has shed light on the transformation of Islamic education institutions in Salaf Al-Manar Islamic Boarding School, Semarang Regency. Researchers employed a qualitative research method to investigate the institutionalization of Islamic education in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) during the era of globalization. The study found that the Al-Manar Foundation underwent institutional transformation from a lodging place to a foundation, and observed the awakening of the fighting spirit of santri (students) who are now transforming into the world of formal education.
