Advances in Solar Energy Technology: PVT Composite Technology
Current research on solar energy technology has been published by Gwangju University, a South Korean institution, in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation & Planning (KETEP) and the R&D Project of Establishment for Renewable Energy-linked ESS Safety Evaluation Center: based on PV. The study presents new data on the PVT (Photovoltaic-Thermal) composite technology, which can produce both electricity and thermal energy simultaneously using solar energy. This convergence technology combines existing solar energy and solar heat utilization unit technologies, and its power generation characteristics are evaluated and analyzed in the research.
Key Takeaways:
- PVT composite technology is a new and renewable energy convergence technology that combines existing solar energy and solar heat utilization unit technologies.
