Artificial Intelligence Enhances 21st-Century Teaching Skills in Higher Education

A recent study published by Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo has shed light on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on teaching skills in higher education. The research, conducted on 270 students at the university, aimed to explore the relationship between the use of natural language processing (NLP)-based generative AI and four key 21st-century skills: critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. The findings of the study have shown that the use of AI has a significant influence on all four skills, with collaboration being the most influenced skill.
