Climate Change Adaptation in Romanian Cattle Farms
Agricultural sectors worldwide are influenced by environmental factors, and cattle farms in Romania are no exception. Research conducted by the Research Institute for Agriculture aimed to evaluate the level of endowment of cattle farms with equipment and facilities to ensure an adequate microclimate, efficient feed and water management, and adaptation to climate change. The study analyzed data from 83 cattle farms in Romania, highlighting the need for investments in technologies such as air cooling, microclimate control, feed management, and automation.
