Developing Embedded System Learning Module Using Project-based Learning Method
Current research results have been published on developing an embedded system learning module using project-based learning method for the Industrial Electronics Department of Vocational High School. The study aims to overcome the urgent need for teaching materials in the learning process of embedded systems. The research methodology used is R&D with the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed module was validated by media experts and material experts, resulting in a high percentage of validity. The study also conducted small and large group trials in class XI of the Industrial Electronics department, showing promising results.
Key Takeaways:
- The study identified the need for systematic teaching materials in the Industrial Electronics Department of Vocational High School.
- The developed Embedded System Learning Module was validated by media experts with a percentage of 87.5% (very valid) and material experts with a rate of 95% (very valid).
- Small group trial results showed 85.7% (very valid) and large group trial results showed 87.8% (very valid), indicating the module's feasibility for teaching material in learning embedded systems.
- The study employed the R&D with the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
- The steps of developing the module included Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
- Data collection in this study used interviews, observations, and questionnaire instruments.
Statistics:
- 87.5%: percentage of media experts who found the developed module very valid.
- 95%: rate of material experts who found the developed module very valid.
- 85.7%: small group trial results showing the module's feasibility for teaching material in learning embedded systems.
- 87.8%: large group trial results showing the module's feasibility for teaching material in learning embedded systems.
