Developing Village Tourism in Indonesia: A Case Study from Universitas Negeri Malang

A recent research study has highlighted the potential of village tourism in Indonesia, particularly in the rural areas of Wonorejo. The research, conducted by Universitas Negeri Malang, aimed to analyze the tourism potential in Wonorejo, partnerships between the university, government, and private sectors, and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth and women groups. The study found that the village government must design village tourism to include in the village development plan program, and the partnership between the university, government, and private sectors can be adapted and applied for rural communities' entrepreneurship in developing countries.
