The European River Restoration Community has announced a practical legal training program aimed at empowering Romani & Traveller women activists and women-led organisations to use human rights language to describe problems in their communities. The training, part of a three-year project, will focus on women's rights and show how to bring local or national issues to the attention of Council of Europe bodies. Participants will learn to describe rights violations using human rights language, understand relevant Council of Europe standards, and prepare reports and documents to bring attention to problems in their community.
