Hybrid Energy Systems Offer Sustainable Energy Generation and Decarbonization Opportunities
A new study has emerged suggesting that Hybrid Energy Systems (HES), particularly those combining nuclear and renewable energy sources, hold significant potential for sustainable energy generation and decarbonization. The research, conducted by the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority, aimed to optimize the operation of electrical distribution systems by integrating small-scale nuclear power plants with renewable energy sources.
