Integrating Blockchain and Livestreaming Enhances Product Trust and Purchase Intentions in Online Agri-Food Markets

Research conducted by National Economics University in Vietnam has shown that the integration of blockchain and livestreaming has a positive impact on product trust and online agricultural product purchase intentions. According to the study, the livestreaming attributes of interactivity and entertainment positively foster online agricultural product purchase intentions through product trust. However, the authenticity of livestreaming has no significant effect on purchase intentions. The study provides both academic and managerial contributions, enriching the literature by expanding trust-based purchase models with digital engagement factors and offering an empirical application of blockchain in agricultural e-commerce.
