Language Teacher Immunity in the Age of Technology

Research findings on language teaching and learning have revealed the concept of "language teacher immunity," a coping mechanism for managing professional tensions and stressors in the face of technological integration in the classroom. This qualitative case study explored the impact of technology tools on three in-service language teachers' immunity, highlighting triggers and coping strategies in detail. The study concluded that addressing these challenges restored equilibrium in the teaching process, positively influencing the teachers' professional identity and resilience in technology-enhanced learning environments.
