Osun State Government Accused of Inciting Public on Court of Appeal Ruling
The All Progressives Congress' (APC) Legal Adviser in Osun State, Chief Adegoke Ogunsola, has accused the state government of inciting the public over the Court of Appeal ruling of June 13, 2025. Ogunsola stated that the government, led by Governor Ademola Adeleke, is attempting to hijack local government secretariats using force, and has appealed to security agencies to call the governor to order.
According to Ogunsola, the state government has resorted to desperate antics to cause confusion in the interpretation of the Court of Appeal ruling of 13th January and the judgment of 10th February 2025. He claimed that since the duo lost control of the local government administration in Osun State, they have attempted to mislead the public and security agencies.
Ogunsola urged security agencies, including the Attorney General of Federation and Minister of Justice, the Inspector General of Police, the Director of State Security Services, and other heads of security apparatuses, to call the government of Governor Adeleke to order and resist any attempts to hijack local government administrations.
