Prevalence and Factors Associated with Vaping Cannabidiol Among US Adolescents

Adolescent e-cigarette use and vaping of marijuana (cannabis) is a growing concern in the US. Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound found in the cannabis plant, is increasingly being used by youths. This study aimed to examine the prevalence and factors associated with youths vaping CBD. The research was funded by the NIH National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the US Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products, and NIH National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The study included a nationally representative sample of students from middle and high schools in the US, conducted from January to May 2022.
