Re-Engineering Education: A National Seminar on Changing Educational Contexts and Content

A National Seminar on "Re-Engineering Education: Contexts and Content" was organized by the Post Graduate Department of Education, University of Jammu, under the UGC-SAP Programme, with eight sub themes focusing on various aspects of education, including classroom reforms, teacher education, media, social dynamics, and inclusive education. The seminar aimed to address the need for re-engineering education in the present-day context. Vice Chancellor Prof. R. D Sharma highlighted the importance of educators' roles in making the teaching-learning process participative and adaptive to changing educational contexts. The seminar brought together over 300 dignitaries and delegates, including professors, educationists, and students, to share experiences and devise strategies to improve teaching and learning processes.
