Researchers Detail Findings in Genetics of G6 Transgenic Mutiara Catfish
Investigators at the Universitas Padjadjaran have been studying the genetics of G6 transgenic mutiara catfish. Their research focused on the impact of stocking density on the expression of key genes involved in stress and immunity response. The study involved two-month-old TG and NTG fish, which were treated with different densities for 60 days. The results showed that TG fish had higher expression of certain genes, such as CgGH, THR, HSP70, TLR1, and IgM, particularly in high-density conditions.
