Researchers Develop Web-Based Digital Library for Cosmetology Education Program

Researchers at Universitas Negeri Medan in Indonesia have developed a web-based digital library as a learning medium for the Cosmetology Education Study Program, addressing the limited access to relevant learning resources for students in this field.

The study aimed to create a web-based digital library that provides students with flexible and appropriate learning resources, improving their understanding of learning. The research used the ADDIE model, involving five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was assessed by two material experts and two media experts, with a feasibility score of 86.8% from material experts and 94.8% from media experts. User trials involved three stages, with an average score of 80.9% from a small group trial, 86.8% from a medium group trial, and 95.6% from a large group trial.
