Sagar Collector Flags Off Farmer Group for Advanced Agriculture Training in Other States

Sandeep G R, Collector of Sagar, along with SP Vikas Shahwal, has flagged off a group of 76 farmers from the district for a five-day tour to other states for advanced agriculture training. The farmers will visit areas such as Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Pratapgarh, and Lucknow, where they will receive training on cultivation of high-value crops like Amla, Avocado, Dragonfruit, and Mango, as well as modern horticulture techniques, hydroponics, and microgreens vegetables. The training is part of the State Sponsored Scheme Year 2024-25 and aims to transfer horticulture technology to farmers and promote organic farming.
