Sustainability Research Highlights Importance of Agricultural Extension Services and Livelihood Capitals in Climate Resilience

In a new study from IPB University in Indonesia, researchers have found that agricultural extension services and various forms of livelihood capital significantly contribute to rice farmers' climate resilience and farm sustainability in West Java, Indonesia. The study, published in the Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, analyzed data from 371 respondents in Karawang and Subang Regencies and employed Structural Equation Modeling to assess the impact of human, social, natural, financial, and physical capitals and extension services on resilience capacity and farming sustainability.
