Teachers' Understanding and Constraints of Global Diversity Character Learning in Early Childhood Education
A recent study by researchers at Universitas PGRI Semarang aimed to describe kindergarten teachers' understanding and constraints of global diversity character learning in early childhood education. The study, published in the journal Edukasia, involved surveys, in-depth interviews, and documentation of 55 kindergarten teachers from School Mover in Central Java. The researchers found that the majority of teachers have a good understanding of the concept of global diversity and use various teaching materials. However, they identified obstacles in teaching materials, which are often less interesting for children. The study suggests the development of more engaging teaching materials, such as flipbooks, to stimulate children's interest in learning global diversity characters.
