TRW Inc. Announces Teaming Agreement to Pursue $100 Million ISC2 Contract

TRW Inc., a leading technology company, has officially announced its teaming agreement with ITT Industries, SAIC, IBM, Harris Corp., and Oracle Consulting to pursue the Integrated Space Command and Control (ISC2) contract. The contract, valued at over $100 million per year for up to 15 years, aims to integrate approximately 40 air, space, and missile defense command and control systems into one, providing a common global battlefield picture for commanders in chief and others at Space Command and NORAD.

The ISC2 contract, sponsored by the U.S. Air Force Space Command, will involve total systems performance responsibility for reengineering and rearchitecting the air, space, and missile C2 systems, as well as migrating existing systems to a new architecture, sustaining, and maintaining the system for the life of the contract. TRW intends to bid as prime contractor, with its teammates as major subcontractors, on this joint services program.
